Watch a movie outdoors
Jonesboro Parks and recreation will be showing two outdoor movies in September in the front lawn of the Earl Bell Center. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs on Sept. 12 for Coraline and on Sept. 26 for Bedtime Stories. For more information, call 933-4604.

Join a Storytime
Fall storytime at the Jonesboro Public Library will begin on Sept. 14 in the children’s library. Family storytime will be held Monday at 7 p.m. and Thursday at 10:45 a.m., PeeWee storytimes at 10 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Pre-School storytimes at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and Lapsit storytime on Thursday at 10 a.m.

Ride the Ferris Wheel
The NEA District Fair returns with rides, food, concerts exhibitions and a petting zoo on Sept. 21-26 at the NEA Fairgrounds. The NEA District Fair Rodeo will be held at the ASU Convocation Center on Sept. 17-19.

Spend some time in the great outdoors
The Arkansas Game & Fish Commission will hold its third annual Fall Family Fair on Sept. 19 at the Crowley’s Ridge Nature Center. Kids’ activities will include face painting, inflatables, archery, hunting simulator, air rifle range, make and take crafts and more. Adult events will also be held.
