Friday, September 5: Howlin' Hour : The A-State Alumni Association will host Howlin’ Hour from 4:30-6 p.m. at the ASU System Office, 501 Woodlane St., Suite 600, in Little Rock. Alumni, fans and friends are invited to gather the evening before the A-State vs. University of Arkansas football game for light bites, beer, wine and Red Wolves spirit. Friday, September 5: Dwight Yoakam with Ashley McBryde and Walker Montgomery : Dwight Yoakam with special guests Ashley McBryde and Walker Montgomery will perform at 7 p.m. at First National Bank Arena. Saturday, September 6: Wild for the Red Wolves : The A-State Alumni Association will host the Wild for the Red Wolves – Tailgate vs. UA from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Little Rock Zoo. Hosted by the A-State Alumni Association, Red Wolves Foundation, Centennial Bank and Hytrol, the tailgate will feature food, live music and more. BBQ tickets include admission and a catered lunch; general admission tickets provide access to festivities without the meal. The 2025-26 athletics season promises to be an exciting one for the Arkansas State University Red Wolves, from football and basketball to volleyball and bowling. All of the school’s athletic programs will be under the leadership of new Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Chris Pezman, who brings with him decades of experience and big dreams for all of A-State’s athletes, coaches and fans.
