Jared Vaughn

Exhibiting at Sean Shrum Gallery, Jared Vaughn graduated with a bachelor of fine arts from Memphis College of Art in 2008.  Jared’s preferred style of painting is modern and abstract. Although his work is precise enough to be mistaken for stencil - it is done completely free hand.  The complex, acrylic paintings contain thin-lined shapes that swirl and intertwine to create an alluring animal or an abstract design. 

Jared’s inspiration for his artwork comes from organic shapes that he began sketching at a young age that have evolved over the years. Jared also accepts commission work and can do anything from portraits to landscapes.
