It’s all about color with Italian-born artist Piero Trimarchi.
“Color transports, color calms, color excites,” he said.
And color is just what you see, whether it is in the landscapes of his native homeland or fantasy faces from previous series of work.

“It is ‘All about the Color’ in which ribbons of color twist, turn, wrap and reach out to bring you entwined into my new series. The movements, balanced by angles of light, amuse, but move you through the painting, as shades of color are explored, as the ribbons blend and compliment each other on their way
across the canvas. The sharpness of lines of color against the black background create an intensity that gives a sense of enjoyment as the eyes search the canvas for beginnings, as well as the ends of the ribbons. As you see, the color
can create that wonderful, visual pleasure that brings a smile to your face, just because it pleases your eye.”
