Friday, October 17: Community Wellness Screening : St. Bernards Healthcare will host a free Community Wellness Screening at St. Bernards Auditorium from 7-10 a.m. The screening will measure blood pressure, height, weight, BMI, anemia, glucose and hemoglobin A1C. Saturday, October 18: Jonesboro Oktoberfest : The fifth annual Jonesboro Oktoberfest takes place from 4-8 p.m. at All Saints Lutheran School (corner of Rains Street & Highland Drive). Families are invited to enjoy German food, a biergarten (for guests 21 and older), live music, dancing, kids’ games, raffles, costume and stein-holding contests. When Broadway comes to Jonesboro later this month for The Link Theatre Company’s exciting annual fundraiser gala, A Night of Stars, it will feature the talent of one of Jonesboro’s own Broadway stars, Kyle Dean Massey. A Wicked Night of Stars, inspired by “Wicked,” will raise money for the nonprofit organization’s youth educational programming and professional productions.
