make a pillowcase tote

As promised, instructions for making your very own pillowcase tote as featured in our "Second Chances" article are now available! You can make this bag very quickly. In less than an hour, you can have your very own pillowcase tote!
What you will need:
- 1 standard size pillowcase
- scissors
- sewing machine
- needle
- thread
- pillowcase tote pattern
What you will do:
- Turn the pillowcase wrong-side out.
- Cut the pillowcase as shown in the pattern. Don't forget to stitch the bottom corners.
- Hem all raw edges.
- Sew the handles together as shown in the pattern.
- Turn your bag right-side out. Press and decorate if desired.
