Monday, August 3: “Ragged Old Flag: Johnny Cash and the American Experience”

The Historic Dyess Colony: Johnny Cash Boyhood Home will commemorate America’s 250th anniversary with “Ragged Old Flag: Johnny Cash and the American Experience,” on display Aug. 3 through March 3 at the museum, 110 Center Dr. in Dyess. The exhibit explores American history through Johnny Cash’s music, featuring lyrics, photographs, rare artifacts and historical objects that reflect themes of patriotism, courage, and compassion. Tickets are $20 for adults, with discounted rates available for seniors, military members, students and groups.
