CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the Second Judicial District held its 30th anniversary celebration in the Arvest Ballroom at Embassy Suites on April 1. Craighead, Greene, Clay, Poinsett and Mississippi counties are covered by the area organization, led by CASA Executive Director Angie Tate. During the past 30 years, CASA has provided advocacy in the court system for more than 4,500 children in the district, helping them find safe and permanent homes.
